The BASE world’s best introduction to BASE tracking. Students will learn to optimize their track for the BASE environment with a focus on recovering from instability or bad exits, starting the track as early as possible, and achieving maximum glide throughout the jump.
Course Tuition $1195
Outstanding features of the course include:
Back up rigs for student use. Extra rigs are brought with the group so that a student who damages their gear (for example, from tree landings) is able to continue jumping while their gear is repaired.
No lodging or transportation requirements. Students are free to arrange their own transportation and lodging, to fit their own budget and preferences.
Air to air coaching video: Air to air video is available on some jumps. Instructors rotate between students to maximize training value and give all students direct feedback.
High Definition (4k) video of most jumps. This helps to correct mistakes, and students are given copies of all the video. Debrief is done both immediately after the jump, and later at the school on larger screens.
Unlimited auditing privileges to repeat the course. Any student is welcome to repeat any course they have completed at any time in the future at no additional charge. Because the lodging and transportation costs are part of the course fee, auditors are expected to cover their portion of the group lodging and transportation, and their own landing cards and exit point shuttle costs.
Students with fewer than 500 skydives may be required to demonstrate tracking skills to the satisfaction of the instructors at a drop zone of the instructors’ choice.
All students will be required to use a two piece tracking suit. No wing suits will be used on this course. Snake River BASE recommends the Squirrel Sumo 2 and Phoenix Fly Power Track Suit, and as a dealer can help students order either of these suits. Any other purpose built tracking suit is also acceptable for this course.
This course will be conducted in Italy, with jumps from legal cliff exit points at a terminal wall, allowing a safer introduction to BASE tracking. The group will meet at Monte Brento, near Sarche, Italy.
Students are responsible for their own transportation and lodging, as well as their own food expenses.
