Tom Aiello started Snake River BASE Academy in 2005 to improve the quality of BASE jumping instruction. Snake River BASE Academy developed a methodical and replicable course of instruction to introduce BASE jumping, and pioneered the concept of intermediate skills training.

Snake River BASE Academy is home to the only BASE school in the world. With a climate controlled packing area, classroom with monitors for jump debrief, and a rigging area, the school is unlike any other.
